Introduction to Poker

Poker and online poker is a card game in which the player holding the best hand at the end of the betting wins the pot, that is, the money or chips placed in the center of the table. But it is also a game of money and betting, bet strongly enough and you might force your opponents out of the game and the pot is yours!

Hole Cards
Unlike most other poker games, Texas Hold’em is played with only two cards per player, called the hole cards. The hole cards are hidden for the other players and are for your eyes only.

Community Cards
Also, there are 5 community cards that are dealt face up on the table so everyone can see them. Each player then gets to combine his/her 2 cards with the 5 community cards to make the best 5-card hand possible. The other 2 cards are not used when ranking the hand.
