Contributed rake is a rake system that distributes the rake generated in each pot to the active players in the pot. The active contributing players will get their share of the rake, depending on how much of the total pot they have contributed to. Each player will receive VIP-point based on how much rake they have contributed to. VIP 1 is awarded for each €0.40 contributed in rake. Also VIP-points from Sit n Go and Multi-table tournaments will be added to the VIP Cash Back GOLD. You get 1 VIP point from every €0.40 paid in tournament fee, in case you buyin to tournament with VIP points, no VIP points will be earned.
New VIP-point distribution
You will get 1 VIP-point for each €0.40 you rake. VIP-points will be awarded in fractions, but only visible in integer. The maximum amount of VIP-points per player per pot is 3,75
Example:
€1/2 NL Texas, 6 players get dealt cards. Player A puts €1 into the pot, Player B puts €2 into the pot, Player C puts €40 into the pot and Player D puts €40 into the pot. Players E and F fold. The pot is €83 and the rake is €3.
Player A has contributed €1/€83 = 1.2% of the pot = €0.036 in rake ~ 0.09 VIP points
Player B has contributed €2/€83 = 2.4% of the pot = €0.072 in rake ~ 0.18 VIP points
Player C has contributed €40/€83 = 48.2% of the pot = €1.446 in rake ~ 3.62 VIP points
Player D has contributed €40/€83 = 48.2% of the pot = €1.446 in rake ~ 3.62 VIP points
Player E has contributed €0/€83 = 0.0% of the pot = €0.000 in rake ~ 0.00 VIP points
Player F has contributed €0/€83 = 0.0% of the pot = €0.000 in rake ~ 0.00 VIP points
What is the difference from before?
Previously 24hPoker had a Shared Rake system, which distributed the rake equally to all players that received cards. Players got rewarded for participation instead of actual playing hands. Now the VIP-points and rake are distributed totally fair based on the actual contributed rake.
What effects does the change have?
From a players point of view the poker playing is the same as before. Now however you will be able to get more than one VIP-point per hand.
Cardroom2 VIP Cash Back separated:
Today you can earn VIP-points on both 24hPoker and Cardroom2, but there is no visible difference between the VIP-points. The possibility to earn VIP-points in Cardroom2 will be removed. Cardroom2 will instead have a separate Cash Back program with the following pay out structure:
€50-€499 in rake 20% in Cash Back
€500 or more in rake 30% in Cash Back
